Self care
It is important to empower your young person, or the person you care for, to find ways to look after their own mental health. This is not a substitute for seeking professional help, however it may support them when used alongsideĀ support from mental health servicesĀ or while you are waiting. There are a variety of strategies that you can encourage and support your young person to try at home.
